The lower Gunnison has an epic salmon fly hatch making for unforgettable fly fishing days and is only 5 miles from the ranch entrance.Location/Access - In addition to bordering the South Rim entrance to the National Park, the ranch is located just 15 miles from the town of Montrose Colorado, and 1 hour to Grand Junction Colorado. The ranch is located off East Portal Road which is the main entrance to the National Park, this road is thoroughly maintained year round. Elevations on the ranch range from 8000ft to 8800ft above sea level. With a good trail system it is easy to get around and enjoy the ranch.
