The Doe Run Ranch offers the rarest of opportunities to own a piece of California history close to the splendor of Yosemite National Park. The ranch consists of 383 acres at an elevation of approximately 3250 feet, and is zoned GF and TEZ. 80 acres are grazing land meadows, and 300 acres are timber land - including Ponderosa Pine, Sugar Pine, Incense cedar, Black Oak, and Douglas fir. The remaining 3.75 acres are made up of the homestead site and road. This is an excellent family compound, consisting of a main house, three additional cabins all in good shape, a historic wooden barn, a pole barn, shop and storage areas. Water is abundant on the property with a seasonal creek supplying several springs, a large pond, and a good producing domestic well. Main house features a large wood-burning stone fireplace, and includes two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and a half basement. Historic cabin dates back to the mid 1800s, and has been used for a stagecoach stop, a stop for passengers traveling to Yosemite, a general store, and at one point owned by an Adventist group. Historic Wooden Barn also dates back to the mid 1800s, and is still used to store the owners tractor.
